Free Thinkers Come Alike

Oh hello there. Bonjour. Long time no see, I suppose.

How are you people out there? Doing fine, I hope. Savvy? I've been watching Pirates Of The Carribean: At World's End. Fantastic movie, I must say. The special effects were real good, and it's a jolly good show to watch if you need a laugh as well. The actors are superb in this one, and I dare say, I've never seen a better movie about pirates in my life. OF course, my life is only so short, but who gives a damn anyway? And I do say, Keira Knightley does some fine acting in the movie. And I have to admit... she's kinda hot. :D

And so in about a week or so, school starts for us over here. Yup. Seventh Grade, a whole new world, a whole new school. Damnit. I'm sure to be the nobody I was back in my old school. In my old school, I got along better with guys instead of gals. Of course, I like both, so who cares? Right? Sigh...

So, I'm wondering about a new fanfic. I'm really just too lazy to write out a plot so it's gonna be a chaptered fic... short, but chaptered nonetheless. I may have mentioned it in the previous post, a crossover of Panic At The Disco, France, The Da Vinci Code and some other confusing stuff involving the FBR family on a weird sidetrip to Paris where Panic finds out some creepy stuff about Ryan's past life. And Brendon's. And Spencer's. And of course Jon's too. It'll be pretty odd stuff, but I bet worth reading, hehe.

And, oh wow. How the HELL did Pete Wentz come up with Bronx Mowgli Wentz? Hopefuly the kid changes his name, or he'd just go by... wait a sec, WTF I just noticed that his initials spell out B.M.W? Isn't that... Pete's favourite car? Erm, smooth move man, naming your kid after a neighbourhood, a cartoon character, and a fucking car for heaven's sake. Hopefully Gerard Way's kid will have an at least, not so weird but not so normal name, like Avery Way or Skyler Way or something, cause another Bronx will kill all the MCR & MSI fans out there. Like, =/

Okay, so I'm done with my pointless rambling tonight... or is it morning if it's 1:42? I have no idea, but goodnight anyways. Au revoir.

Have I Found You? Or Lost You?

Okay, I know I haven't updated anything in a long time. I've been busy; many fanfic ideas and poems have been flowing around my head. I've taken up French this month. Thank God for Microsoft Word. So, now I'm sort of good at French. I think. o.O

Has anyone seen Twilight yet? I haven't yet, but I love the soundtrack. "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" is stuck in my head. So is "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out" and "Mama". The last two songs aren't from the soundtrack. Just from Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance.

So, Christmas. Anyone else here celebrating with two separate families? Yes, that's right. Christmas Eve with my Dad's side of the family; Christmas Day with my Mom's side. It's a hassle, but worth it sometimes.

My appeal for SU came through. I'M GOING TO SU! ~victory dance~ Now, I'm reunited with my best friends. Over the holidays, my friends Afiq & Erfan & I have become a bit close. Good friends, you can say that. We're all going to the same school, hows that for good? But, there's someting else bugging me. My other friend, Bob, has become entirely distant nowadays ever since I told him I was bi. That creep has the most annoying cousins too. Joel & Thanesh are still my best friends. Too bad Joel is going to SMK instead. D:

Then, today I saw The Academy Is...'s new video for "Winter Passing". I swear, the best video of the month, even with the simplicity of it all. William Beckett looks great in the video, and when he stopped singing to smile at camera, it was so sweet. :D

And then Fall Out Boy's new album, Folie a Deux. Wonderful, wonderful work. Better than Infinity On High any day. Brendon Urie sings in both "20 Dollar Nose Bleed" and "What A Catch, Donnie". Gabe Saporta, William Beckett, Alex Deleon, Elvis Costello, Travis McCoy and Doug Neuman are all featured on "What A Catch, Donnie" with Brendon as well. "I Don't Care" and "Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet" are great too.

I've been reading tons of fanfics on Slash At The Disco and FicWad and I've been inspired by all the writers on there. Especially a few authors like panicatteryden, spazzyskittles, and a few others. I have this idea; it's a Ryden story set in France, a small crossover with The Da Vinci Code, Transformers and Twilight. Weird, aye? That's how my mind works.

So, since his post is going on way longer than expected let me throw in a few more random stuff I want to bring up. Obama is president, yay. School is starting soon, boo. New Year's is coming, the new year is coming, 2009 is coming. I'll be one year older. A year more mature? Psh, yeah right. I still have the imagination of Brendon Urie on Red Bull and Frank Iero on Skittles combined.

And OMG Spencer Smith finally got rid of his beard! Time to celebrate. But Frank Iero gains one. Creepy, eh? Gerard and Lyn-Z are expecting a baby!! Oh wow, this is fantastic news. Finally, Gee is gonna be a Dad! A a great one at that, for sure. And a member of MSI is expecting too! His wife, I mean. But still... YEAH!

And MCR has news on next year's new album as well; they're toning the album down a bit and returning to punk-rock. Ah, good old fashioned punk-rock. Frank's side-band LeATHERMOUTH is fuckin' awesome, only way to describe it. Aggresive, angry, very meticulously put together and all the same great.

I'm pretty sure I've explained this song before, but it won't hurt to explain some more. I have time.

It's about a woman who cheats on her husband with an attorney from a firm she works at.

Interesting?

2) Prostitution Is The World's Oldest Profession (And I, Dear Madame, Am A Professional)

Ahah. Another fantastic one from Cobra Starship. Talks about the life of a prostitutute. Catchy and insightful.

3) Brianstorm by The Artic Monkeys.

Hmm. Weird name. But they make great music, by the way. It's kinda scrambled so I can't make heads or tails of the song(?).

4) Mr Brightside = The Killers

Very nice song. Relates to Build God, Then We'll Talk a little bit. And also Prostitution Is The World's Oldest Profession..., yeah.

5) Ghost Of You >> My Chemical Romance

Ahh. A personal favourite. About a young man who joins the war(WW1) and doesn't make it home alive. It's heart-wrenching.

All the songs relate to each other in a way. For Brianstorm, I was originall going to put the song Who The Fuck Are The Artic Monkeys? by, obviously The Artic Monkeys. Much better, but ILike didn't have the song. Settled for next best.

Surprisingly, ILike had only THREE songs from TAM. Can you believe it? Not even I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor. Hmmph.

Well, gotta go. I'm late for guitar lessons. :/
